Three wins from three would finish off a perfect week for Leicester City and that is the aim for Russell Martin and his side when we travel to Luton Town this Saturday.

We are back on the road this weekend, to face Luton Town in Saturday’s early kick-off (12:30pm BST), and the Foxes are aiming for a third straight success for the first time this season.
Encouraged with what he has seen during the week, with consecutive wins over Doncaster Rovers and Bromley, our Manager hopes to keep that same mentality when we make the journey to Kenilworth Road.
“They’re a good team, with good players and a good coach,” Martin stated. “It’s a hard place to go, they run and fight hard. They pose a threat in a lot of different areas and probably should have more points than they already do.
“It’s going to be a difficult game, so we need to make sure we’re ready for that and impose ourselves on the game as early as we can.

“We have to go into it with the same mentality we have done in the last couple of games and make sure we’re better than them in as many areas as we possibly can.
“It would be powerful for us (to win three games in a week), we want to keep improving our performances, and with that, momentum will build, which is good for the supporters, players and Club as a whole."
A 2-1 win over Doncaster was followed up by a resounding 4-0 victory at Copperjax Community Stadium, in which Academy graduate, Sammy Braybrooke, registered three assists.
Delighted with the development from the team in recent weeks, especially the younger players, Martin believes there is much more to come from this team.
“We started the game (against Bromley) much better than we did against Doncaster and finished the game much better too,” the Manager continued.
“It’s off the back of real hard work and effort and we had some brilliant moments with the football, so we wanted to go out and show our ability and I believe we did that.

“When you start building relationships with players on and off the pitch and begin to understand their needs and what they can bring, there’s a lot of growth.
“Sammy [Braybrooke] and Louis [Page] for instance, have come on really well and it’s been a positive to see them all drive each other on.
“We’re demanding more from them, but they are beginning to contribute more in those attacking areas, so we have to maintain that.”
In the opposing dugout this weekend will be former Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, who took over the reins at Luton in October of last year.
Winning just over half of his games in charge, Martin has nothing but respect for the young manager, who he admires for his resilience and hard work, which is exemplified on the pitch.

The Manager added: “He was an amazing footballer; I played against him when he played for England as well and I know he is a special player.
“He’s been unlucky with injuries, but I’ve seen his work with the Under-18s at Arsenal too, and he’s been a great student of the game. He’s done well with his first managerial role, I have nothing but respect for him, because I know it’s not an easy job.
“He's a young, hungry, English manager that’s got a willingness to learn, which creates an ability to keep getting better. I look forward to coming up against his team on the weekend, hopefully we’ll get the win.”
