Sammy Braybrooke started, while Nathan Opoku came on as a substitute during Newport County’s 2-2 away draw at Crewe Alexandra in midweek, before both were named in the starting XI for the weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Fleetwood Town at Rodney Parade.

The results see the Exiles remain rooted to the bottom of the Sky Bet League 2 table ahead of this Saturday’s 3pm kick-off against Colchester United at JobServe Community Stadium.

Bilal El Khannouss came off the bench to help Stuttgart beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-1 in the UEFA Europa League, before scoring the opening goal of a 4-0 Bundesliga success away at Werder Bremen three days later.

Fifth place Hoffenheim are the visitors to MHP Arena on Saturday (2:30pm kick-off), sat just one position and one point ahead of Stuttgart heading into the clash.

Woyo Coulibaly was an unused Sassuolo substitute during their 2-2 draw with AC Milan at San Siro. His next opportunity to be involved for the Serie A club will come against Torino on Sunday (2pm kick-off).
