  • Hamza Choudhury previews Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship test against Swansea City (3pm BST kick-off)
  • We head into the match currently inside the bottom three, by a single point, with five games to go
  • Leicester City need wins on the board after three successive draws over recent weeks
  • Choudhury speaks in the latest issue of CITY Matchday Magazine
We head into the five-game run-in, starting this Saturday against Swansea City, with work to do, currently sitting inside the bottom three by a single point.
Recent performances have been encouraging, but we need to turn a run of three successive draws into wins as soon as possible – with that very much the target this weekend.
Speaking to CITY Matchday Magazine, the official Leicester City programme, the Academy graduate spoke in-depth about the importance of this Swans clash, the requirement to remain composed amid a tense battle for survival, and the impact the Blue Army can have.
On staying calm despite the pressure, Choudhury said: “I think that's been the message from the Manager within the group. There's a lot of experienced people in here who have been in this situation in the Premier League.
“We understand that we know we have what it takes to get ourselves out of this position. It's just about going on the pitch and actually producing it.
“We've got a big, big couple of weeks ahead of us. We're more than confident that we can get ourselves out of the bottom three and retain our Championship status for next season.”

Choudhury has been with the Club since he was a boy and is ready to do everything he can, when utilised, to play his part in getting the Foxes up the table.
“Of course, being a local lad, it means everything,” he added. “We’ve massively underperformed this season and that's been, I think, down to us.
“There's been outside noise but ultimately, we haven't performed when we've got onto the pitch, so we've got no one else to really look at but ourselves.
“For me personally, obviously it means a lot and hopefully me and the lads, and the staff, can put things right in the next five games.
“I think sometimes when you're in the stressful moments, the last thing you want to really be doing is overthinking stuff, overstressing about situations. It's professional football, you spend so much time with one another and on the football pitch – it’s ultimately your life.
“To spend time your family and your friends, [it's important to come] back in 100 per cent and raring to go, hopefully to get the three points out there.
“Being back at home with the full support of the crowd will be very uplifting.
“I think the crowd and the fans can play such a big part in the next five games, they really keep us going. It's just got to be a horrible place for teams to come and hopefully, with our performances, we can definitely make it happen.”
