Starting off in Czech Republic, Olivia Clark started as Cain was once again on the scoresheet for Wales, making it two in two international games for the City striker.
Turning in a low cross on the half-hour mark to make it 1-1 in their opening FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying group stage game, Wales ended up drawing 2-2 after a late strike from Crystal Palace forward Elise Hughes, leaving them third in League B Group 1.

In the same competition but a different group, Kees got off to a flying start with Belgium; lining up in defence alongside former Fox Janice Cayman as the Red Flames beat Israel 3-0.
Second in League B Group 4, Belgium host Israel this coming Saturday (4pm kick-off), while Wales welcome Montenegro on the same day at 3:30pm.
There was also a World Cup qualifying win for Lehmann, who come off the bench for Switzerland on 72 minutes to play her part in a 2-0 scoreline against Northern Ireland. Malta are their next opponents in League B Group 2 on Saturday (6pm kick-off).

Elsewhere, van Egmond started and played 67 minutes in Australia’s 1-0 win over Philippines, courtesy of a Sam Kerr strike, to kickstart their AFC Women Asian Cup in perfect fashion. The Matildas face Iran next in Group A in Robina on Thursday morning (9am kick-off).
Swaby has also been in action, starting for Jamaica in a 3-2 win against Nicaragua, with Manchester City forward Khadija Shaw netting twice to maintain the Reggae Girlz' 100 per cent record after two games in their CONCACAF qualification group. Facing Antigua & Barbuda next Tuesday, they then tackle Guyana eight days later.
Finally, Olivia McLoughlin was an unused substitute for the England Under-23s in their 1-0 win over France, while Nelly Las, currently on loan at Ipswich Town, picked up her first minutes this calendar year for England Under-20s, coming off the bench in a 1-0 win over Netherlands, days after the Young Lionesses were beaten 3-1 by Spain.
