Woyo Coulibaly (Sassuolo) and Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart) were also involved in Europe

Tom Wilson-Brown was on the winning side for Swindon Town, as first-half goals from Ollie Palmer and leading goalscorer Aaron Drinan secured a 2-0 success over Bromley.
This victory sees Town climb to second in Sky Bet League 2, with Wilson-Brown playing for 72 minutes at Nigel Eady County Ground. They are next in action this coming Saturday, when they travel to Newport County, who themselves have two LCFC loanees.
County, with Sammy Braybrooke and Nathan Opoku in their starting XI, suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Chesterfield. Will Grigg, Will Dickson, Ronan Darcy and Dilan Markanday got the goals for Chesterfield, with Michael Spellman getting one back.
Opoku played just over an hour at SMH Group Stadium, as Braybrooke completed the full 90. Newport are 22nd in the fourth tier with five points from 10 matches.
Elsewhere in the EFL, Jayden Joseph also got 45 minutes of action for Tranmere Rovers during a 0-0 stalemate with Cambridge United at Prenton Park. Rovers, who are 18th, are next in action away against Bromley on Saturday.
Midfielder Henry Cartwright started for Falkirk in a 3-0 loss at Hearts, with more action on the horizon at home to Rangers this weekend. Will Alves, on the other hand, is set for a spell out after sustaining an injury.
Over in Italy, Woyo Coulibaly was involved during a 3-1 triumph for Sassuolo over Udinese in Serie A. Goals from Armand Laurienté, Ismaël Koné and Edoardp Iannoni did the game at Mapei Stadium, although Keinan Davis got on the scoresheet for Udinese. Coulibaly played for 80 minutes before being replaced.
Verona away is next up for Sassuolo on Friday evening. Bilal El Khannouss, meanwhile, also saw action for Stuttgart in a 2-1 away win over Köln in Germany.
Jakub Kamiński opened the scoring for Köln early on but strikes from Ermedin Demirović and Josha Vagnoman turned the game around for the visitors, with El Khannouss leaving the field on 86 minutes.
