Leicester City supporter to take on Prostate United challenge
Steve Aquilina will run 5km every day throughout October
Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes
The Foxes supporter will embark on his third consecutive Prostate United challenge by running 5km every day throughout the month to raise funds to fight prostate cancer. His challenge – which equates to 155km in total – will end on Friday 31 October when he takes in his final 5km at LCFC Training Ground in Seagrave.
Steve first got involved in the campaign after seeing the devastating impact prostate cancer can have on families across the UK and his efforts over the years have already raised vital funds and awareness.
The Prostate United campaign unites football fans, staff and players up and down the country and Steve is proud to once again represent Leicester City in the fight against the most common cancer in men.
Our fans are encouraged to donate to Steve’s cause to help fund life-saving research and to support the thousands of men affected by prostate cancer.
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to saving more lives.
