  • We’re nominated in the Professional Game category
  • Awards ceremony to take place in Glasgow on Friday 7 March
  • FvH challenges discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression at all levels of football
This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment, alongside LGBTQ+ supporter group, Foxes Pride, to promoting inclusivity and supporting the LGBTQ+ community in football and wider society.
The Football v Homophobia Awards celebrate individuals, groups and organisations across football who are making significant strides in the fight against homophobia and discrimination.
The nomination is testament to our efforts with Foxes Pride to champion diversity and promote the welfare of our LGBTQ+ supporters, while ensuring King Power Stadium is a welcoming and safe space for all.
Football v Homophobia is an international initiative existing to challenge discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression at all levels of football.
The campaign was originally conceived and launched in 2010 by the Justin Campaign, which was founded in 2008 to demonstrate that 10 years after Justin Fashanu's tragic suicide, homophobia was still hugely prevalent in both grassroots and professional football.
The awards will take place at the iconic Òran Mór venue in Glasgow on Friday 7 March.
