The young Foxes travelled down to Mangata Pay Stadium having drawn 2-2 with Newcastle United earlier in the week and made light work of seeing off the Gunners to rise up to eighth in the PL2 standings.

Kirsten Otchere opened the scoring inside 11 minutes in north London and Logan Briggs soon made it two, before quickly doubling his tally to see City go three up before the break.

The hosts did pull one back on the stroke of half-time through Scottish striker Evan Mooney, but Leicester re-established a three-goal advantage courtesy of Riley Carr's goal.

Substitute Amani Richards made absolutely sure all three points would be heading back up to Leicestershire with a late fifth, wrapping up an impressive night's work from the side coached by Leon McSweeney.
