  • The former City striker recalls stories with Manager's Nigel Pearson and Ian Holloway
Tune in to episode 15, in which Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart speak to the former City striker about some of his best and worst stories from his playing days, available now.
At the Club during the years from 2006-2011, the now 39-year-old spoke on what it was like to be involved during a rollercoaster time for the Foxes, which included relegation to League One before bouncing back in style.
In his second season after joining from Walsall, Fryatt had Ian Holloway as his Manager and recounted a particular trip to the South Coast, in which he called all the players down from their hotel rooms, to re-enact a moment from a 2004 comedy film.

"We head to for Southampton, and it's 10pm on a Friday evening and he [Holloway] calls us to the squash courts and we head down to find the Manager dressed up as Patch from the film Dodgeball," the striker explained.
"He gets his staff to throw balls at him while we watch, before shouting up for us to get in there and then get involved.
"The next day we go and play Southampton and he played it like fantasy football with all forwards because he wanted goals but obviously you need balance.
"It was a bit of a mess, and from that rousing speech, we found ourselves 2-0 down after 10 minutes. We get beaten easy. He was doing it for team spirit to try and get a change, but it was crazy."
Things started to improve following relegation to the third division, as we won League One; Fryatt the top scorer with 32 goals, including a brace at Roots Hall to earn the win that secured our promotion as champions.

Working under Foxes legend Nigel Pearson, the ex-striker spoke about his charisma within the Club and how the promotion-winning season was one of the best in his career.
"You go into the season with extra determination to perform well," Fryatt recalled. "We had players like Steve Howard and Matt Oakley with a blend of some younger players who Nigel [Pearson] seemed to understand straight away.
"He got the group together, got them together and became dependable without being world beaters. Everyone knew what he stood for and he connected with everyone.
"Scoring the two goals at Southend United was a great day and a big moment for me and us as a team in the season."
