The Bees are the latest visitors to King Power Stadium following City’s late defeat to Arsenal last time out, a game which showed the ruthlessness of the Premier League after a spirited display from the Foxes.
Aware of what is required to turn a corner in the fight for survival, the 23-year-old referenced the encouragement taken from performances in recent weeks and why he feels the squad are more than capable of producing a run of positive results during this crucial period of the season.

“We had a good performance as a team,” the former Atlanta youngster reflected on the Gunners reverse. “We have to keep taking our good bits and bring it to this next game against Brentford. We didn’t bring home the points, but I think it will keep us in good spirits and good form.
“We are looking forward to having a good performance in the next game. We are now preparing very well so we’ll be ready. Everybody knows what we need to do to get out of the bottom three so we will be very motivated.

Handed a starting spot by Ruud van Nistelrooy for the Foxes’ last two outings, the centre-back is keen to replicate his early-season progression and continue to grow as a player while helping the team to try and find a way out of the current predicament.
“It was a brilliant start to the season for me, getting lots of games,” the Italian reflected on his seven consecutive starts earlier this campaign. “Of course, it’s part of the job that your form can dip and sometimes you can come back and be better.
“In the last few games, I’ve had some decent performances and hopefully now we can get some points for the team.”
