  • Leicester City to support Rainbow Laces at West Ham United fixture
  • Campaign celebrates commitment to inclusion and support for LGBTQ+ people in football
  • Foxes Pride are the Club’s LGBTQ+ supporter group
All top-flight fixtures between 29 November and 5 December will provide clubs with the opportunity to celebrate their ongoing commitment to inclusion and support for LGBTQ+ people in football.
Branding will be visible throughout King Power Stadium, including rainbow captain’s armbands and laces, along with pitch flags, ball plinths and handshake boards, while City’s players will warm-up in Rainbow Laces t-shirts to show further support for the initiative.
Meanwhile, members of the Club’s LGBTQ+ fan group – Foxes Pride – will also meet with Proud Of Irons for a pitchside photo before the game.
Foxes Pride work with Leicester City to tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in football, while promoting the welfare of LGBTQ+ supporters and ensuring King Power Stadium is a safe and welcoming place for all.
Established in 2015, Foxes Pride are one of the biggest LGBTQ+ supporter groups in the country, and currently have more than 200 members. Their work in this space has seen them win, and be nominated for, multiple awards.
The Premier League works together with clubs to celebrate and promote LGBTQ+ inclusion all-year round. This is underpinned by significant work to improve policies and practices, including reporting measures and pastoral care, as well as staff training and wide-ranging education programmes.
Should you experience any form of discrimination in a Leicester City setting, please email help@lcfc.co.uk or call 0344 815 5000 (option 4).
Furthermore, you can also report any form of discrimination or hate crime by texting the word FOXES to 60066.
