Returning to LCFC Training Ground once more after last weekend’s defeat to Chelsea, the young Foxes faced the Royals aiming to bounce back and record a second victory of the calendar year.
And City got off to the perfect start, opening the scoring through the in-form Lorenz Hutchinson just three minutes into the contest, his 14th league goal of the season.
The visitors equalised before the break, however, when Alpha Diallo’s own goal restored parity in Seagrave four minutes prior to half-time.
That’s how it stayed, with the point earned taking the Foxes youngsters to fourth in U18 Premier League South, ahead of travelling to west London on Saturday to face Fulham at Motspur Park (12pm GMT kick-off).
The details
City: Marson, W. Lawrence, Diallo, Toko (Adedeji 56’), Simons; Manyumba, Boothe (Aideed 63’); Owusu, de Lisle, Anugo (Corden 63’); Hutchinson (Colangelo-Allen 46’).
Unused sub: H.Lawrence.
Goal: Hutchinson 3’.
