Sunday’s visitors, Aston Villa, arrive to King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon (3pm GMT kick-off) only one point ahead of the Foxes; therefore, a win on home soil could see us climb further away from the drop zone.
In the build-up to the Barclays Women’s Super League clash, here are the main talking points from the Manager…
‘Mental aspects make the difference’

Following an Adobe Women’s FA Cup defeat against Manchester City, Miquel hopes the team can put in the same effort and desire that they ended the game with, in Manchester.
“The message I want to give the players is that the players need to give the same energy in every game,” the Manager announced. “Sometimes it’s physical aspects, because you’re playing a lot and get tired.
“I really need the XI that start and the five that come in to give everything, because we don’t have time to jog or put in half efforts, but there are many aspects that can affect that.
“There were mistakes in the last game, but for me, the mental aspects are what make the difference; we saw that against Chelsea and that’s what we need to replicate.”
‘Learnings go both ways’

Miquel was impressed with the efforts of Academy trio Nelly Las, Simone Sherwood and Sammy Kaczmar at Joie Stadium last time out, with the former netting her second senior goal late on.
While many deem the older players to be the teachers of experience, the former Stade de Reims Manager believes every team-mate can learn from each other.
“We said that learnings go both ways,” she continued. “Experienced players can teach young players, but I also think that it can work the other way too.
“Younger players don’t overthink as much, and if they see the ball, they go for it. Don’t get me wrong, there are moments we do need to think but sometimes more experienced players are more calculating, and we just need to go for it.”
‘They are evolving’

The Villans will arrive on Sunday under new management, in the form of Natalia Arroyo, who has won once in her first three games in charge since her arrival from Real Sociedad.
Still in the evolving stage, Miquel understands the risks that Leicester will face on Filbert Way and aims to have her squad ready for the challenge.
“She is a manager we have looked at,” Miquel continued. “I wouldn’t say that Aston Villa have her style, not yet, because we know this takes time.
“They are evolving slowly and changing styles and so we must make sure we are cautious of the quality that they will bring at the weekend.”
