Inspired by our historic 5000/1 title-winning season, the competition challenges students to reflect on the theme: “What’s your 5000/1?” - encouraging young people to think about the obstacles they face, what feels impossible and how they can overcome it.
The campaign draws on the remarkable journey of Claudio Ranieri’s side, whose achievements captured the imagination of the football world. From early season doubts to lifting the Premier League trophy, the story remains one of sport’s greatest ever underdog triumphs, and a message now being passed on to the next generation.
As part of the competition, students will be prompted to explore:
What challenge feels impossible?
What’s holding them back?
How will they overcome it?
The winning school and students will receive a truly unforgettable set of rewards:
A once-in-a-lifetime visit from a member of our 2015/16 title-winning squad - accompanied by the Premier League trophy
Tickets for the 5000/1 Anniversary game at King Power Stadium on Saturday 30 May
The overall winning entry (individual or group of up to four students) will receive two premium match tickets for the anniversary fixture
A signed copy of their winning entry, presented on the pitch
Leicester City in the Community will formally adopt the winning school, delivering a bespoke programme of support throughout the 2026/27 academic year
