It's back-to-back away trips for the Foxes, who take on Sunderland just seven days after a defeat to league leaders Newcastle United at Gateshead International Stadium.

Looking to show a response and get back to winning ways, here is how you can follow the action, including purchasing match tickets and Fox Travel, for Sunday's league clash at Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground (2pm BST kick-off).

Foxes news

The Foxes are back up north this weekend.

The season started in great fashion for Rick Passmoor's side, who beat Sheffield United on the opening day before put four past Durham to get consecutive wins on the board.

Since then, times have become a little tough for City, who lost to Ipswich Town at King Power Stadium, before two defeats last week, first to London City Lionesses in the Subway Players Cup, before Sunday's defeat in Gateshead.

Without a goal in the last three, we will need to find our shooting boots to regain some momentum in Sunderland.

Looking at Sunderland

The Black Cats are second in the standings.

After taking on top-of-the-table Newcastle last time out, we now face the side sitting in second place, also boasting an unbeaten record, with three wins and a draw in the early stages of the WSL2 campaign.

Beating Bristol City, Burnley and most recently, Watford, they were held to a goalless draw against Southampton and have only tasted defeat in the Players Cup this term, when they were beaten 4-2 by top-flight Liverpool.

Our last meeting with the Black Cats came in January 2023, when we triumphed 5-0 in the League Cup, a day that saw former Leicester winger Ava Baker become our youngest goalscorer in history.

Match tickets, Fox Travel and where to watch

Follow the Foxes on the road this weekend.

Tickets for our test against Sunderland are available and are priced at £8 for adults, £6 for concessions and students and £2 for under-18s.

Fox Travel is also on offer for those needing transport for the trip up the M1, and is priced at £36.50 per person. Please note that coaches will depart King Power Stadium at 9am, but we advise supporters to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to departure.

If you can't be with us in person, the game will be available to watch live on the WSL2's official YouTube channel, with highlights to come on Foxes Hub on Monday. All news and behind-the-scenes content, meanwhile, can be found on our social media channels.
