Goals from Bethany England, Drew Spence and Lenna Gunning-Williams settled the scoreline in north London, as City fell at their first hurdle in the cup competition.
Rick Passmoor made three changes to the side which lost out in London last weekend, with Janina Leitzig, Rosella Ayane and Noémie Mouchon coming in for Olivia Clark, Hannah Cain and Emily van Egmond.
England opens the scoring
We were beaten by Spurs on Sunday afternoon.
We headed to the capital in consecutive weeks, this time around to meet Spurs in the fourth round of the FA Cup, and after some early chances for the Foxes, it was the home side who broke the deadlock.
Shannon O'Brien and Mouchon will be rueing missed opportunities this evening, as both forwards worked well to fashion openings for themselves but saw both efforts go wide of the post.
Former Lioness, England, was clinical at the other end, however, as she scored on 24 minutes, following up on a good save from Leitzig from a tight angle.
Williams back in a Leicester shirt
The biggest plus of the day was seeing Rachel Williams back in a Leicester City shirt. Coming through the Academy ranks, the forward has gone on to have an illustrious career, before returning to the Club where it all started this month.
At 38-years-old, she brings valuable experience with her to the Foxes, and she was awarded with her first minutes of the new year, when she came on as a second-half substitute for Mouchon.
Unfortunately, goals from Spence and Gunning-Williams confirmed the home win, with Spurs advancing to the next round.
Back to the WSL next week
We return to league action next week.
We resume our Barclays Women's Super League campaign next week, on home soil for the first time in 2026, when we welcome West Ham United to King Power Stadium on Sunday (11:55am kick-off), with tickets still available. Looking to push on this year, and build on the two home wins already collected this term, we welcome a Hammers side who we drew with after a late O'Brien goal at Chigwell Construction Stadium back in November.
After that, we have back-to-back league games on a Saturday, first of all against Arsenal on 31 January (12:30pm kick-off), before facing Manchester United on Filbert Way the following week, with a midday kick-off.
All times GMT.
