Overturning an early opener from the hosts at Loughborough University Stadium, the young Foxes took a big step towards qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition.

Making just the one change from the 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers in Premier League 2 last weekend, goalkeeper Harry French replaced Stevie Bausor between the sticks, and would be beaten inside 17 minutes.
