'Walshy' was all guts and courage over 14 years as a Fox between 1986 and 2000, with his never-say-die attitude endearing him to a whole generation of City supporters.

The iconic former Leicester centre-back was a hero of several triumphs, perhaps most notably when his Wembley brace in 1994 secured a 2-1 victory over Derby County and booked our place in the Premier League.

He was there throughout Martin O'Neill's spell at Filbert Street as well, winning two League Cups and embarking on European campaigns, as we finished in the Premier League's top-10 during four successive seasons.

In this special episode of Leicester's The Place, our official podcast, Walsh sat down with former team-mates Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart to take stock on that magical Foxes career.
