Oliver Ewing scored again for eighth-placed Buxton in the National League North as they claimed a 2-1 victory at Needham Market, recovering from a 1-0 defeat at home to King’s Lynn last time out. The Development Squad midfielder has netted three goals in his 13 appearances, with Kidderminster up next on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

There was a 2-0 away win for Arjan Raikhy’s Tamworth at Gateshead and the centre midfielder made a late appearance from the bench, before being an unused substitute in another victory by the same scoreline against Eastleigh.

Sitting 10th in the Vanarama National League, a trip to Maidenhead United’s York Road awaits on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Ben Grist played 90 minutes in back-to-back victories for Worksop Town, beating Warrington Rylands 3-0 before a 4-1 home victory over Lancaster City. The defender may feature again on Saturday against Stockton (3pm kick-off).
