On Thursday, James Maddison earned a fifth cap for England's Under-21s, while Hamza Choudhury, Demarai Gray and Harvey Barnes emerged from the bench, against Bartosz Kapustka's Poland side.
Maddison started at Ashton Gate as the Young Lions extended their unbeaten run to 16 matches, but were unable to to leave Bristol with a friendly victory after Sebastian Szymanski equalised Dominic Calvert-Lewin's opener.
Gray and Barnes, meanwhile, were introduced as 72nd-minute substitutes and Choudhury - an Academy graduate like Barnes - came on with 10 minutes to play. Kapustka, on loan at OH Leuven, played the full 90 minutes.
Both sides are set to appear in this summer's U21 UEFA European Championships in Italy/San Marino, with England, semi-finalists two years ago, among the favourites to win it, while Poland reached the group stage in 2017.
England's youngsters next take on Germany at AFC Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium on Tuesday (7:45pm GMT kick-off), while Poland host Serbia for a 2pm GMT kick-off.
Elsewhere, midfielder Tielemans, on loan from AS Monaco, netted for the first-ever time in a Belgium shirt as Roberto Martínez's men opened their 2020 UEFA Euros qualification campaign with a 3-1 win over Russia.
The 21-year-opened the scoring for the Belgian Red Devils at Heysel Stadium by receiving the ball from Timothy Castagne, finding the bottom corner. While Denis Cheryshev equalised, Eden Hazard's brace sealed all three points.

Northern Ireland, meanwhile, handed a 77th cap to Jonny Evans in a 2-0 success for Michael O'Neill's men over Estonia in Euro qualifying at Windsor Park on Thursday evening.
