Matchday Minus Two - broadcast two days before every weekend first team fixture - sees Foxes legends provide their expert opinions on City's teams over a 30-minute discussion show on Filbert Way.

This Sunday, Sean Dyche's Burnley visit King Power Stadium, following an opening day 3-0 win at West Bromwich Albion, while there were also promising results elsewhere at the Club...

A fantastic performance

Full-back Timothy Castagne opened his account for the Foxes with a debut goal last weekend.

Gerry Taggart said: "It's never easy playing your first game of the season away from home. To come away from that game with a comfortable 3-0 win will be immensely pleasing for everyone involved. I can't state enough how difficult it is at the beginning of a season, especially away from home. It was a fantastic performance which settles everyone down before this weekend's game."

The importance of clean sheets

Çağlar Söyüncü starred alongside Wilfred Ndidi in defence at the Hawthorns last weekend.

Gerry Taggart said: "It's great to see that clean sheets are just as important as they always have been to this side. As much as Leicester are a team that want to go out and attack the opposition and create goalscoring opportunities, playing free-flowing football, there's still that mindset of: 'We give nothing away at the back'. Fantastic."

Assessing the Clarets

Matěj Vydra scored Burnley's first goal of 2020/21 in a Carabao Cup clash with Sheffield United on Thursday.

Gerry Taggart said: "I think it'll be a step up from the West Brom game. These games are always tight between Leicester at Burnley, whether it's at King Power Stadium, or Turf Moor. Burnley are an experienced, well-drilled, organised side. They played the other night, but I'd expect them to make changes and strengthen that side for Sunday. Everyone's really looking forward to it."

Taggart expecting few changes

Manager Brendan Rodgers is into his second full season in charge of the Foxes.

Gerry Taggart said: "With the way the team gelled after around 20-25 minutes [at West Brom], he'll probably make a couple of slight tactical changes, but as far as the personnel is concerned, I don't see anything changing. It's all about making the most of the opportunities when you do find yourself in a little bit of space. I've got no concerns about us creating problems for Burnley, it's about converting chances."

LCFC Women's start

Natasha Flint celebrates sealing a point for the Foxes late on in Chesterfield.

Gerry Taggart said: "For a newly-formed side, so to speak, to go out and play this standard of football and come away with two positive results... you've got to say that's a great start for LCFC Women. Hopefully with results on the pitch, they can become like the men's team - a force to be reckoned with."

Clark's Man Utd U23s stunner

Mitch Clark's 25-yard effort secured a 2-0 win for City's Under-23s at Leigh Sports Village.

Gerry Taggart said: "It was a fantastic finish from him [Mitch Clarke], cutting inside. I think he's a right-footed left-back and it's a great piece of skill to get away from the defender. He just slows it, then quickens it up, and the best thing about it is his composure. He doesn't thump it, he just guides it and it's a fantastic finish."
