- The Leicester City centre-back played the full 90 minutes in Pristina
- Northern Ireland are third in UEFA Nations League C Group 2 after three games

The Foxes defender played from start to finish at Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri - his third appearance across the latest international window - as the visitors fell to defeat in their third UEFA Nations League C Group 2 fixture.

Evans, 34, moved up to fourth in his country's overall appearances charts earlier this week, helping to keep a clean sheet in a goalless draw with Cyprus, but could not prevent the Green & White Army losing out this time around.

Vedat Muriqi broke the deadlock just nine minutes into the contest, from the penalty spot, and Zymer Bytyqi doubled the hosts' lead 10 minutes later.

Shayne Lavery pulled one back on the stroke of half-time, but Muriqi re-established the two-goal cushion with his second of the evening shortly after the interval.

A second Northern Ireland goal, scored seven minutes from time by Daniel Ballard, proved to be a mere consolation in Pristina.

Ian Baraclough's side are third in their four-team pool, with one point from three games and next up return home to host Cyprus at Windsor Park on Sunday (2pm BST kick-off).
