- Ben Chilwell is a doubt after picking up a knee injury in training this week
- Robert Huth, Matty James, Yohan Benalouane remain out

Chilwell impressed for the Foxes in an advanced position on the left flank during the 2-0 victory over Everton at King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

However, following a knock in training at Belvoir Drive this week, Puel says he will seek the advice of his medical team before deciding whether to take him to Staffordshire.

“For the game, we will have to wait and see with Chilwell,” he explained on Thursday.

“He has picked up a little injury in the training session. It is his knee. We will see tomorrow if he can participate in training on Friday or not. It is not too bad.”

While Chilwell may yet feature at Stoke, three players who are certain to play no role for Puel’s men are Robert Huth, Matty James and Yohan Benalouane.

Puel added: “Huth, James and Yohan are getting better but still away from fitness.”
