The Foxes will head to Vitality Stadium to tackle Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth on Saturday and the 28-year-old winger says Chilwell, as well as Demarai Gray and James Maddison, are exciting players with a big future ahead of them at King Power Stadium.

“The youth is massive in today’s game,” Albrighton said. “We’ve recruited young English talent as well as young foreign players and you look on the international stage.

“England are going for young players and bringing them up through the Under-21s which is great for the future and the players now to get the experience of playing on the international stage.

“There will be another World Cup in four years and hopefully these young players can get as much experience now as possible.

“If they play in some big stage games, come the World Cup, they’ll be ready and prepared.”

Discussing Saturday’s fixture, Albrighton believes that the clash could be the start of an important month – with games against Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United also on the horizon.

“At this stage at lot of teams look at stages, get to the first and second international breaks, I think this second stage coming up will be crucial,” he added.

“You want to pick up as much points early on as possible and with the teams we’ve got to play against, we consider that we should be picking up maximum points against these sides.

“We’ll do our best to do so and hopefully we can get some wins.”
