Spending eight-and-a-half years in North London, the one thing that Neville doesn’t have experience of is signing for a new club, but in a first sit-down interview with us, she expressed excitement for what this new chapter in her life will bring.
“For me, it’s a new challenge and I want to help the team get as many points on the board as possible,” the defender explained.
“I’ve spent a lot of time at a different club but now is the time for me and the family to do something new, and I’m looking forward to seeing what this challenge will bring.”

A hard-working individual, capable of playing on either side of the defence, Neville revealed how she has plenty to offer and bring into the squad.
Talking about the facilities we have at our disposal, with Belvoir Drive and King Power Stadium becoming the new base for the 32-year-old, she is eager to jump straight in at the season’s halfway stage.
“There’s a lot that I feel I can add to the team,” she continued. “Which is a lot of desire and commitment to get those points, and hoping that’ll help us climb the table as high as we can.
“The facilities that Leicester have here are incredible. I’m looking forward to getting into the first training session and playing my first home game here in front of the fans.
“I’ve never been in the position before (moving clubs), but I’m hoping after the Christmas break, I can hit the ground running.”

Leicester have built the foundations of a WSL club over the last few seasons, continuously doing so with a younger squad, and the former Spurs star believes she can not only add her physical qualities, but knowledge of the league, to help us push to the next step.
Neville added: “I’ve watched the league grow in the years I’ve been here and I’m hoping that the experience I do have will help the players, especially the younger ones, to develop.
“I want to show them what this league is about because I think it’s moving at a fast pace and it’s something we need to keep up with.
“As a defender, I’m really aggressive, front footed on the ball when intercepting, but I also like joining in with the attacks going forward and hopefully I can get some goals and assists for the Club.”
