Resilience and perseverance shone through on Monday evening in Seagrave as our young Foxes fought back from a three-goal deficit to draw with Blackburn Rovers in PL2 action.

A stirring fightback, we picked up our first point in the competition since the end of August when we beat Derby County, having lost to Wealdstone in the National League Cup, Tottenham Hotspur in the league and Valencia in the Premier League International Cup last time out.

Lorenze Mullarkey-Matthews broke the deadlock 12 minutes in before Igor Tyjon had the chance to score a brace, both from 12 yards, netting penalties in the 14th and 33rd minute.

The comeback started before the half-time whistle, when Amani Richards scored a goal that provided confidence in the dressing room at the interval, leading to a quick-fire double from Logan Briggs and Jake Evans in the 74th and 76th minute respectively.

A positive point sees us sit 11th in the standings, with eight points from the first five games, as a trip to Aggborough Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers is up next on Friday evening with a 7pm BST kick-off.
