After a midweek win against Sunderland, the Foxes feature in their first WSL game since a defeat by Chelsea back in December, as they face Brighton on Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of this weekend's clash, take a detailed look at both sides, with all match information required should you be attending...
The Foxes camp
Leicester started the New Year with a bang, when they beat Sunderland 5-0 at Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground. Missy Goodwin opened the scoring before Sam Tierney, Ava Baker and Molly Pike all added goals in the second half.
The result means that the Foxes head into their final Group B match against Manchester City, with the chance of progression to the quarter-finals, should they win when the two sides meet on Wednesday (7:30pm kick-off).
It being the first month of the year, Leicester have also been busy in the transfer window, as Australian striker Remy Siemsen joins the Club from Sydney FC, while Demi Vance and Ellen Jones (on loan) depart.
The talking points
Manager Willie Kirk told the media on Friday: "It’s really hard because they’ve obviously got a new manager and it’s hard to say what they’ll stick with and what they’ll change.
"We’ve actually probably analysed Jens’ previous teams, Bayern and Freiburg, just as much as we’ve analysed Brighton to try and get a flavour for what he might bring to the league and to the team.
"I think it’s good because it means we really need to focus on us – make sure our processes and performances are as strong as possible to make sure we get a positive result."
Sam Tierney, on the other hand, also said: "The togetherness in the team is still the same and we’re still willing to fight and we know we can produce on the pitch.
"It’s a sense of excitement. We’ve had a break and we’ve started to nail things down and see things progressing. As a player, that’s a good sign."
The opposition
Sunday's opponents will head into the afternoon only one place above Leicester in the league standings, but seven points clear. However, the south coast side have not featured in a competitive game since the start of December when they lost 3-1 to Manchester City in the WSL.
The Seagulls' two wins of the season have come against Reading, winning 2-1 at home, before picking up three points in the capital, as they scored the majority in a 5-4 scoreline against West Ham United.
Brighton's top scorer is Danielle Carter, who has four goals to her name in all competitions, and she will be accompanied by four new additions to the Brighton squad, with new recruits Guro Bergsvand, Dejana Stefanovic, Brianna Visalli and Zoe Morse all signing since the start of the month.
In the dugout
In December of last year, Brighton appointed Jens Scheuer as manager, and this weekend's match-up with City will be his first in charge.
Scheuer made the switch to England from Germany have been the head coach of FC Bayern Munich Frauen since July 2019. An impressive CV which includes several teams in the Frauen Bundesliga, the German manager also boasts experience in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
Last time out
Leicester have yet to play Brighton in the 2022/23 campaign, so you would need to go back to this weekend of last year for the previous meeting between the two sides.
At King Power Stadium, it was the hosts to take the points, as a Shannon O'Brien strike in the 54th minute was the only goal of the game.
The away fixture, in November 2021, was another close encounter, but it was Brighton to take the win as an injury time goal from Maisie Symonds settled the score.
