Aaron Ramsey joins Leicester City on transfer deadline day
The Burnley midfielder will spend the 2025/26 season at King Power Stadium
The 22-year-old, a product of Aston Villa’s academy, will spend the 2025/26 campaign with us following two seasons with the Clarets.
Speaking to Foxes Hub, Aaron said: "I’m delighted to be a Leicester City player for the season. I know it’s a Club that has a great history and passionate supporters, and I’m looking forward to showing what I can do in a Leicester shirt. I’m here to work hard, learn from the players and staff around me, and hopefully help the team build on what has been a great start to the season already.”
Having come through Aston Villa’s academy, where he won the FA Youth Cup, Aaron made his senior debut for the club in an EFL Cup tie against Barrow in August 2021.
A loan move to Cheltenham Town followed in January 2022 before he signed a season-long-loan deal with Norwich City at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign.
Aaron played 20 times for the Canaries and later gained further Sky Bet Championship experience on loan at Middlesbrough the following season.
In August 2023, Aaron made a permanent move to Burnley and now links up with us ahead of our next fixture away to Oxford United on Saturday 13 September (12:30pm KO).
