It’s a 7:45pm kick-off as we conclude the calendar year with an East Midlands Derby
Foxes attacker Bobby De Cordova-Reid previewed the clash with the Rams

Leicester City's final Sky Bet Championship fixture of the calendar year sees the Rams head to King Power Stadium on Monday (7:45pm kick-off), with both sides aiming to return to winning ways when locking horns on Filbert Way.
While the Foxes were beaten 2-1 by Watford on Boxing Day, John Eustace’s men drew at Birmingham City, extending both sides’ winless runs to two matches. A quick turnaround, playing on home soil once more, De Cordova-Reid is looking forward to getting back out on the pitch to right the wrongs of recent weeks.
“It’ll be good,” he told us. “It’s an opportunity to put some points on the board. Obviously, we’ve got to come out of a bad couple of games, so it’ll be good for us to show the fans how we’ve been playing previous to the two games, to give them something to enjoy over this festive period.
“We need it. The lads have been speaking and we know what we need to give to the fans and give to the Club. We understand in games that there will be ups and downs and we’ve got to take the ups and be ruthless in both boxes.
“You’ve got to be professional. We’ve got top facilities to train in so we get our recovery right and be ready for a big game. We’ve got a big squad which the Manager will use and everyone will be used. We’ll be ready to get the three points.”
Defeating Derby 3-1 at Pride Park in early December, it was a result which ended our last two-game losing streak, a target which is now in the team’s sights again. Putting that impressive performance to one side, City must be ready for the visitors to be up to the task this time around, he warned.
“We know it’ll be a different game,” the Jamaica attacker explained, having netted in the last East Midlands derby between the teams. “In the first game, we obviously scored three early goals, so we know they are going to come out differently, but at the same time, we can hurt them. We know their weaknesses and we know we can go and win the game.
“A lot of teams play in that way and with that plan and we’ve got to be ready for whatever challenge they bring but adapt to anything and we’ll go out there and give 100 per cent to get the win.
“It’s always good (to win a derby). We came out of a bad run then and gave the fans something to shout about. We’ve got to continue doing the right things and hopefully get the win.”
