The visit of Manchester United to King Power Stadium on Sunday is a fixture dedicated to the Hospice, who provide free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to more than 2,600 terminally ill adult patients across Leicestershire and Rutland.
The Danish pair were given a tour of the Hospice, where they learned about the vital care and services LOROS provides, as well as visiting key areas of the facility and spending time with patients and staff, listening to their experiences.
Mads said: “It was incredibly moving to visit LOROS to see the work being done at the hospice. The care, dedication and kindness shown by everyone is truly inspiring.
“To spend time with some of the patients and their families, and to hear their stories was a privilege, and it’s moments like these that remind us of the impact football can have beyond the pitch.
“Meeting everyone here has been a humbling experience, and I hope our visit can help raise more awareness and support of their work.”
The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, named in honour of our late Chairman, Khun Vichai, has been a pillar of charitable support in the region for over a decade, helping to make a meaningful difference to those in need.
To further highlight this support, we’ll welcome LOROS to Filbert Way this weekend, where supporters will be able to find out more about the Hospice and donate vital funds to aid their work.
HOW TO SUPPORT LOROS
