  • Rob Owen to run 5km every hour for 24 hours at King Power Stadium
  • He is aiming to raise over £100,000 for LOROS Hospice
  • LOROS are one of the VS Foundation’s nominated charities this season
Rob, along with friends Dan Malcolm and Jake Thompson, will be running 5km every hour for 24 hours on Filbert Way, equating to a total of just under 75 miles.
He has completed this incredible feat on three occasions, in 2021, 2023 and 2024, and in doing so has raised over £64,000 for LOROS, one of The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation’s nominated charities for the 2024/25 season.
This year, Rob and his team are aiming to top the £100,000 mark, and are kindly asking supporters to donate to their challenge as they run in memory of Diane Linley, Sheila Kent and Donald Shepherd.
And if that wasn’t enough, Rob will also be running the 2025 London Marathon, again supporting the work of LOROS, who provide free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to more than 2,600 terminally ill adult patients across Leicestershire and Rutland.
