The 28-year-old joined our Academy at the age of seven and progressed through the ranks before making his senior debut as a substitute in a 2-0 Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool at King Power Stadium in September 2017.

His Premier League debut followed two months later, when he came off the bench during a 2-1 home victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Hamza went on to make 165 appearances for the Football Club in all competitions, scoring three goals and captaining the team on multiple occasions.

He was a member of the squad that lifted the Emirates FA Cup for the first time in our history in 2021 and made 34 league appearances as we secured the Sky Bet Championship title in 2023/24.

Having joined Leicester City as a seven-year-old and progressed from the Academy to represent the Club at senior level, Hamza leaves with the sincere thanks of everyone at the Football Club for his contribution throughout an association spanning more than two decades.
