Sixteen-year-old Monga was named in England's starting XI for the 2-0 success over Ukraine at Pinatar Arena in Spain, as the Young Lions began preparations for the UEFA U19 European Championship with victory in the first of three fixtures this week.
A goal in each half from Divine Mukasa and substitute Shumaira Mheuka settled the contest, with our Academy graduate playing 70 minutes in Murcia before being replaced by Arsenal's Max Dowman.
It's Spain up next for Will Antwi’s side at the same venue on Saturday, also a 10am kick-off, before meeting the Netherlands next Tuesday (11:30am kick-off).
