We host Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday 10 August
Game set for a 4:30pm kick-off at King Power Stadium
Fan Zone open from 1:30pm on Sunday afternoon
Important supporter information ahead of our opening fixture
With plenty going on throughout King Power Stadium for the season’s curtain raiser, including a pre-match Fan Zone, supporters are advised to arrive as early as possible to ensure everyone can get to their seats in time for kick-off.
MOBILE TICKETING
Thousands of our supporters have already used Digital Ticketing (NFC) as their preferred method of entry into King Power Stadium, with it now becoming the default method of entry to matches for all supporters this season.
If you're using Digital Tickets for the first time, we have range of helpful guides and information is available to make the process easy, as well as lots of additional Here To Help staff at turnstiles to support you (look out for the pink bibs!).
To help make sure the process is as smooth as possible, please remember to download your ticket to your mobile device before arriving at Filbert Way on Sunday.

Following the successful trial of our Fan Zone last season, we’re delighted to be returning with a bigger and better offering for the 2025/26 campaign. Starting from Sunday, the Fan Zone will be a matchday feature for at least four of our home games between August and December:
Sheffield Wednesday (Sunday 10 August)
Birmingham City (Friday 29 August)
Portsmouth (Saturday 18 October)
Ipswich Town (Saturday 13 December)
Located on Car Park C, opposite the Foxes Fanstore, the Fan Zone will be the perfect place to meet up with family and friends this weekend to soak up the pre-match atmosphere, with pints priced at £5 for the first hour (1:30pm - 2:30pm).
Open from 1:30pm to 4pm, the Fan Zone will offer improved catering options including a wide range of tasty street food, refreshing beverages and live music from Six Feet Apart to get the Blue Army in the matchday spirit.
We’ll also have former City striker Iwan Roberts as a special guest, as well as fun-filled games and activities, making it the ideal place to gather before heading inside to cheer on the Foxes!
THIRD AND AWAY KIT LAUNCHES
Our new pink third kit, debuted in pre-season and will be worn by our Men’s First Team in our fixture away to Huddersfield Town on Wednesday 13 August, will launch at the Foxes Fanstore from 10:30am this Sunday.
This will be followed by the retail launch of our new away kit, which will be worn for the first time when our Men’s First Team face Preston North End on Saturday 16 August. This will be available to purchase from the Foxes Fanstore from 9am on the same date, as well from the evening of Friday 15 August.
After the new pink third shirt goes on sale at 10:30am, the Foxes Fanstore will then close at kick-off, before re-opening again for 45 minutes after the final whistle. The shirt will also be available from 10:30am at our store in Leicester Highcross and online at shop.lcfc.com. CONCOURSE FOOD & DRINK ADDITIONS
We’ll be continually enhancing our concourse menus throughout the 2025/26 season, introducing new hot food options for supporters to enjoy on matchdays.
For this weekend’s fixture, you can look forward to:
Chaiiwala Samosas
Rollover Hotdogs (including Halal)
Loaded Tater Tots
We’re also excited to launch our brand-new self-serve Box Bars, initially available on the South and South-West concourses, with a full roll-out planned across the season.
Plus, don’t forget to take advantage of our special offer of £5 pints of Chang for the first 30 minutes after concourse doors open.
1884 BAR
The 1884 Sports Bar will once again be open to Season Ticket Holders from two hours before kick-off, offering the perfect place to relax, enjoy a drink and soak up the pre-match atmosphere.
After the final whistle, the bar will also open its doors to all home ticket holders for post-match refreshments.
This season sees an enhanced food offer inside the 1884 Sports Bar, including a tempting Pie & Pastry selection, plus a ‘Top Your Own’ Mac ’n’ Cheese station - perfect for creating your own matchday favourite.
SAFE STANDING TICKET CHECKS
Safe Standing was introduced following extensive consultation with supporters via surveys, Your 90 Minutes sessions, Fans Advisory Board (FAB), Fans Consultative Committee (FCC) working groups and other feedback forums. This led to 5,000 rail‑seated (safe standing) spaces have being installed across King Power Stadium. To ensure that safe standing operates safely and efficiently, only supporters with valid tickets for safe standing blocks will be permitted entry into these areas.
Our stewarding team will carry out ticket checks at entry points into safe standing blocks, and may also conduct spot checks during the match, including at half-time. These checks are essential to ensure we meet safety obligations and provide the best possible matchday experience for all supporters.

CLAP BANNERS
This season, we’ll be reducing the amount of clap banners on matchdays, however they’ll still be available in the following areas:
North Stand – staff members will be handing clappers out to fans in this area only. They will not be available in any other concourse areas at King Power Stadium.
Fan Zone – available to collect from the Fan Zone on Car Park C, as well as our retail pods and from the Foxes Fanstore.
Be sure to collect your clappers from these areas, make plenty of noise and get behind the team!
FAN ENGAGEMENT PLAN
We’ve recently published our Fan Engagement Plan for the 2025/26 season - outlining our continued commitment to structured, transparent and inclusive dialogue with supporters. Now in its second year, the plan builds on strong foundations laid in 2024/25, where a comprehensive programme of meetings, surveys and supporter forums helped shape a number of our decisions, ranging from matchday pricing to stadium improvements and community engagement initiatives.
At the heart of the Fan Engagement Plan is the belief that meaningful change is achieved through listening to the diverse views of our fanbase and creating opportunities for all supporters to have their say.

As we approach the start of the 2025/26 season, we’re reaffirming our commitment to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone connected to our Football Club.
Over the last few seasons, we’ve stood alongside football’s leading organisations to tackle the rise in discriminatory behaviour across the game.
The Club is also reminding all supporters of the importance of respectful conduct. Stronger measures are now in place, and anyone found engaging in anti-social behaviour - including offensive or discriminatory chanting - will face firm sanctions.
REPORTING PROCEDURES
Should you experience, see or hear unacceptable behaviour on a matchday, report it. Text 60066 starting your message with the word FOXES.
The Football Club takes discrimination in all its forms seriously and your support in helping us to eradicate it from King Power Stadium is vital in our mission to continue making football something that can be enjoyed by everyone.
Further details about discrimination and reporting procedures can be found HERE. TICKET RESALE PLATFORM
The Ticket Resale Platform is intended to help our loyal Season Ticket Holders on the occasions where other commitments mean they are unable to attend a fixture at King Power Stadium.
For those occasions, they will be able to make their seat available via our Ticket Resale Platform, and if purchased, they will receive 1/23rd of the cost of their Season Ticket back.
Please also note that children under the age of two are not permitted into the stadium.
