The Foxes have had an extra week of valuable recovery time, with the postponement of the Arsenal fixture at Emirates Stadium due to their inclusion in the Champions Cup.
We return to top-flight action this weekend when second-placed Man Utd make the trip to Filbert Way, with Leicester aiming for a first win of 2026.
In the build-up to the game, Passmoor provided a fitness update, detailing the longer-term injuries in particular, and their progress behind the scenes.
Heather Payne's progress was one of a few mentioned during Thursday's press conference.
Heather Payne's progress was one of a few mentioned during Thursday's press conference.
"I've got a list to make sure I don't forget any," Passmoor told the media at Belvoir Drive. "Heather Payne is returning and back in training. She's been on the bench and she's getting closer with the workload she's doing.
"Denny Draper is back on the pitch running and got a warm welcome back from the players. She's a long way off from making the matchday squad yet, we're talking quite a few weeks, but she's progressing well and her professionalism for a young player is incredible. So we're looking forward to have her back.
"Celeste [Boureille] and Jutta [Rantala] and still out long-term, but are in and around the building and the team.
The Manager confirmed Janina Leitzig has been back on the training pitch.
The Manager confirmed Janina Leitzig has been back on the training pitch.
"Jani [Leitzig] is in training, she's done a bit extra today. She'll train tomorrow and then we'll review it with the medical team but it's good to have her back on the grass."
Passmoor also discussed how we are approaching the time where injuries and little knocks can become more of a regular occurrence, but believes the work done during the transfer window has put us in a good position to finish strong in the second half of the season.
The Manager added: "It's getting to that time of the year, when we're halfway through the season, and with international breaks coming up too, where you will start getting players that aren't 100 per cent.
"But that's the nature of the beast and with our work in the transfer window, we're prepared and have depth and quality in the squad to deal with those situations."
