LCFC Women return to home WSL action this Sunday against Tottenham Hotspur
Rick Passmoor provided a fitness update on Noémie Mouchon and Missy Goodwin
Tickets for the midday kick-off at King Power Stadium remain available to purchase
City put five past Ipswich Town in the League Cup in midweek, with five different scorers all knocking on the door to start this weekend's Barclays Women's Super League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur - a 12pm kick-off at King Power Stadium on Sunday.
And during his pre-match press conference at Belvoir Drive on Friday afternoon, Passmoor provided an update on his squad, which is brimming with confidence after the last couple of performances, though Goodwin remains sidelined through injury.
"Missy [Goodwin] is still unavailable," he admitted. "We're not looking at her being with the team for a few more weeks. She's still with the medical department but doing well."
While not on the scoresheet, another positive from Wednesday's win at JobServe Community Stadium was the inclusion of French striker Mouchon in the starting XI for the first time this season.
As the French forward builds up her match strength, the Interim Manager was asked if she has the chance to start her first WSL game since October 2024.
"Absolutely," Passmoor summed up in one word. "The main thing is the training and the tempo we're trying to implement and with her being involved and getting minutes midweek, she's doing well to fight for that shirt."
