Ten Leicester City players have been called up for international action
Wales trio Wes Burns, Liam Cullen and Dai Cornell could feature in the UEFA Nations League, with Harry Souttar set for friendly Australia action
Ilari Kangasniemi, Christian McFarlane, Louis Page and Harry Howell are among the others
Our EFL Trophy fixtures against Fulham (22 September) and Stevenage (6 October) will be played as planned, with Sky Bet League One games moving

Wales trio Wes Burns, Liam Cullen and Dai Cornell will be involved in UEFA Nations League fixtures against Portugal, Denmark and Norway. Harry Souttar, meanwhile, is in the Australia squad for a double-header of international friendlies with five-time world champions Brazil.

Elsewhere, Ilari Kangasniemi has been called up by Finland Under-21s for UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying matches against Spain, Romania and Kosovo, while Ryan Donnelly will be with Northern Ireland Under-21s for qualifiers against Malta, Georgia and Greece.

Christian McFarlane, meanwhile, will represent England Under-20s in the Euro Elite League against Italy, France and Germany. At Under-19 level, Louis Page and Harry Howell have been selected by the Young Lions for fixtures against the Republic of Ireland, Norway, USA and Belgium.

At Under-18s level, Hugo De Lisle is part of the England Under-18 squad for the UEFA Friendship Cup, where the Young Lions will face Colombia, Egypt and Korea Republic.

LCFC FIXTURES

Our home Sky Bet League One match against Wigan Athletic (originally scheduled for Saturday 26 September) has now been rearranged for Tuesday 27 October, kicking off at 7:45pm. The scheduled league trip to Blackpool on Saturday 3 October has also affected and a new date is yet to be confirmed, with the first international window of the campaign now spanning two match weekends.

Unlike the Premier League and Sky Bet Championship, the Sky Bet League One programme continues during international match windows. However, EFL rules allow postponements to be requested if at least three players are called up for senior, Under-21, Under-20 or Under-19 international duty.

The EFL Trophy matches at home to Fulham Under-21s (22 September) and away to Stevenage (6 October) will still take place as planned. Both are 7pm kick-offs.

BROADCAST SELECTIONS

All fixtures remain subject to change, with broadcast selections for Sky Bet League One fixtures confirmed in line with the EFL’s 26/27 TV Game Selection Process – you can see the full dates for when broadcast selections are made HERE.

All fixture movements involving Leicester City, including in the Emirates FA Cup, Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy will be communicated on the Official LCFC App and LCFC.com as soon as they are confirmed.
