We’re taking on Stevenage at King Power Stadium on Saturday
John Lundstram will return for the Sky Bet League One clash
Russell Martin reported no new injuries within the squad
Our Manager was speaking in his pre-match press conference

We host the Boro in our second home fixture of the week, a 3pm GMT kick-off at King Power Stadium, with Martin reporting a clean bill of health within the squad as things stand, barring the long-term injuries.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, our Manager was pleased to be welcoming back Lundstram after his sending off in our away defeat to Luton Town last weekend.

An instrumental part of the side, competition for places in the starting XI on the bench is growing, as the 40-year-old explained.

“Lunny is back from suspension,” he told reporters at LCFC Training Ground. “It makes it difficult now as he comes back into the squad. Someone else will have to miss out.

"I’ll never complain about having too many good players. It’s the best problem for a manager to have, to bring a player like John Lundstram back into the squad and then to try and leave one of the brilliant players on the bench out.

“It’s difficult to leave people out, for sure, but it’s an absolute privilege for me to be in charge of this group and the level of support that has been shown with the players we have.”

Match tickets remain available to purchase online ahead of our bout with Stevenage on Filbert Way!
