The young Foxes extended their unbeaten run to four matches across all competitions, following last weekend's 2-2 draw away at Liverpool in the U18 Premier League.

Looking to build on that result, City were behind inside the opening minute against Wolves, with Tejay Smith finding the net to give the visitors an early advantage.

We responded before the interval, however, as Jake Fletcher struck in the 35th minute to see us get back on level terms.

The sides went into the break at 1-1 and neither could find a decisive second goal, ensuring the points were shared in U18 Premier League North.

Next in action on Saturday 31 October, the Foxes head to The Nigel Doughty Academy for a meeting with Nottingham Forest (11am GMT kick-off).

The details…

City: Stretton, Jacklin, Simons (c), Dignum, Govan, Manyumba (Swan 34’), Owusu, Szembell (Irene 83’), Quinn, Holmes (Turrell 71’), Fletcher.

Subs not used: H. Lawrence, L. Lawrence, Machaka, Muskwe.

Goal: Fletcher 35'.
