The young Foxes followed up last weekend's emphatic Premier League Cup triumph over Reading by putting a point on the board in the league, making it three games unbeaten across all competitions.

And having drawn 2-2 with Stoke City in our last league fixture, the same scoreline played out at Liverpool Academy, with the hosts taking the lead via Aiden Yeguo's strike on 27 minutes.

Going in at the break a goal down, our youngsters responded early in the second half through Bismark Owusu and then turned the game around as Jake Fletcher found the back of the net.

We'd be denied our first three points of the campaign by an 84th minute equaliser from Reds' midfielder Hayden Holme, however, leaving us 14th in U18 Premier League North, ahead of Saturday's home clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at LCFC Training Ground (11am BST kick-off).
