The Foxes youngsters came into the contest off the back of a four-game winning streak and extended that to five courtesy of Lorenz Hutchinson’s brace at LCFC Training Ground.

The exciting young forward, who captained the side in Seagrave, took just eight minutes to break the deadlock, set up by Hugo de Lisle, and followed it up with a quick-fire second nine minutes later. That’s now five goals in just four league games for the striker.

Younes Ibrahim pulled one back for the Seagulls from the penalty spot with 10 minutes to play, but it proved to be a mere consolation, and Leicester collected another three U18 Premier League South points to move up to second in the table.

Behind leaders Crystal Palace on goal difference alone, having played a game less than the Eagles, it’s a trip to Tottenham Hotspur Academy up next on Saturday (11:30am BST kick-off).
