Beata Olsson opened the scoring early on in the game, before a late penalty strike from Ceri Holland condemned Leicester to defeat, leaving us at the foot of the Barclays Women's Super League with six games to go.
Rick Passmoor made five changes to our previous line-up at Man City four weeks ago, with Janina Leitzig, Asmita Ale, Hannah Cain, Sam Tierney and Rachel Williams coming in as we switched to a back four formation, with two central strikers.
Hosts take an early lead

Liverpool took an early lead on Merseyside.
The pouring day rain at the referee's first whistle made it a difficult opening period for both sides, as they had to adjust to the speed of the ball as well as the elements in an important fixture as we approach the final run-in of the season.
City started well in a more attacking formation, but it was Liverpool who took the lead, breaking down the wing before a low cross into the box was turned goalwards from close range by Olsson.
As the rain showed no sign of halting, the Foxes tried to get more of a foothold on the game, having the best chance of the half when a Cain low cross into the path of Alisha Lehmann was turned goalwards but the Liverpool 'keeper got her body behind it to keep the home side in front at the break.
Knocking on the door
The Foxes improved in the second half.
The Foxes improved in the second half.
In the second half in St. Helens, City started to establish themselves on the game, holding more of the ball and pushing the hosts hard to find a way back into the game.
The biggest boost came from the bench with the introduction of Noémie Mouchon, who proved a handful for the Reds' defence and was at the heart of our best chances in the game.
With less than 15 minutes left on the clock, the French forward saw a good curling effort deflected behind for a corner, which led to a chance for Goodwin, who also came off the bench, to strike at goal, but once again, the hosts were there to block the danger.
Late penalty condemns the Foxes
A second goal late on for the hosts settled the scoreline.
A second goal late on for the hosts settled the scoreline.
Liverpool continued to look threatening on the break, and in the final minutes before injury time, took a two-goal advantage from 12 yards out.
Pressing the Leicester defence, they won the ball high up the pitch and won a penalty for a trip inside the box, which Holland stepped up to convert, hitting the inside of the post on the way.
The disappointing result on Merseyside leaves us bottom of the WSL, two points adrift from 11th placed West Ham United, with six games left to play, starting with a home clash against Aston Villa next weekend at King Power Stadium.
