A third game in eight days, Rick Passmoor's side are looking to get back to winning ways when we face Newcastle away from home this weekend, having fallen to defeat to London City Lionesses in the Subway Players Cup in midweek.

Tickets and Fox Travel are still on sale for this fixture, which kicks off at 2pm BST, as we look for our third league win in WSL2.

Foxes news

The Foxes head north to take on Newcastle.

It's been a long week for the Foxes, made even longer with our growing injury list. It started with a 1-0 reverse to Ipswich Town at King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon,, before losing out 2-0 to the Lionesses on Wednesday night.

Despite defeat, however, it was a positive performance as we kept one of the country's biggest spenders at bay for 80 minutes, until Nikita Parris and Kadiditou Diani scored within the last 10 minutes.

Having not found the net since our 4-2 victory over Durham, City will be hoping to challenge the Magpies and recapture goalscoring form in the North East.

Looking at Newcastle

Sunday's hosts reside at the top of WSL2.

This weekend's hosts are top of the league after the first three games, currently with a 100 per cent record, having beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bristol City and most recently, Sheffield United.

Scoring seven goals and only conceding one, they are a threat at both ends and we will need to be on the top of our game to have a chance of coming away with a positive result against Tanya Oxtoby's side.

Beth Lumsden and Martha Thomas both have three goal involvements each this term, and will be the ones to look out for, along with four former Foxes - Freya Godfrey, Elysia Boddy, Lia Cataldo and Jemma Purfield.

Match tickets, Fox Travel and where to watch

Sunday's match comes from Gateshead International Stadium.

Tickets are available for the game, priced at £9 for adults, £7 for over-65s and under-22s and £3 for under-18s. Our allocation of 164 can be found in the north side of the Tyne and Wear Stand.

Fox Travel is also available this weekend for those making the trip up the M1, and is priced at £33.50 per person. Coaches will depart Filbert Way at 8am, but we do advise supporters to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the departure time.
