Our young Foxes returned after the winter break by welcoming the Eagles to Seagrave for league action, and things started well for the side coached by Adam Barradell, who seized the advantage on 21 minutes through 16-year-old Louis Page. The central midfielder, who has also made five Premier League 2 appearances for City's Development Squad this term, scored with a stunning long-range strike to hand Leicester the lead at half-time.

With just over a quarter of an hour to go, the visitors found an equaliser via Jerome Osei, two minutes after coming off the bench, in the right place to tap home from close range after Seb Williams' effort was deflected. The substitute went one better and completed a brace with nine minutes remaining, finding space inside the six-yard box to finish on the turn and claim all three points for Palace.

Now 11th in the standings, with nine points from 11 matches, our Foxes youngsters welcome bottom of the table West Bromwich Albion to LCFC Training Ground on Saturday morning (11am GMT kick-off).
