There to mark the launch of JV9 GOAT – a new range of merchandise celebrating our legendary No.9 – the 37-year-old visited Filbert Way to spend time with the Blue Army just six days before the big day this festive season. Vardy is four goals away from hitting 200 in City's colours, when he will become just the third player to achieve the feat, joining Arthur Chandler and Arthur Rowley. Rising from non-league to the top-flight, Vardy has won the Premier League, FA Cup, Community Shield and two Championship titles over 12 years with the Club, also starring in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League. A one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet one of the most beloved City players of all time, hundreds of ballot places were up for grabs ahead of the event, which led to a packed Foxes Fanstore awaiting our No.9 on Thursday night.
Not only a chance to see some of the items in the new JV9 GOAT range – with the first drop including special-edition 2024/25 adidas replica shirts – fans could also meet the man himself, taking selfies and sharing stories ahead of Christmas Day.
The JV9 GOAT collection celebrates a legacy that is still unfolding, as Jamie’s name continues to be carved into the folklore of our Football Club. Make sure to stay tuned to LCFC.com, the LCFC App and @LCFC on social media for updates on the next drops from the range dedicated to our record-breaking goalscoring hero.
