- LCFC Women face Liverpool in the Barclays Women's Super League- Sunday's match at Prenton Park has a 2pm GMT kick-off- City beat Liverpool 2-1 last time out in the Continental Tyres League Cup- All the details on how to follow the Foxes' clash can be found HERE
After October's international break, which saw eight Foxes represent their countries, Willie Kirk's side head back to domestic action for the trip to Merseyside to take on a side currently one position below Leicester in sixth, as WSL service resumes.
Here is a detailed look into both teams ahead of their meeting on Sunday afternoon...
The Foxes camp
City have won two and drawn one in the opening month of the WSL campaign, tallying up seven points in October, but headed into the break off the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at King Power Stadium - Chloe Kelly scoring the only goal.
The Foxes do however boast a strong record against Liverpool, winning 100 per cent of their league matches against the Reds, and have beaten them this season already - when the two sides met at Pirelli Stadium in the Continental Tyres League Cup last month.
New signings have been leading the way for Kirk's Leicester in the early stages, with Lena Petermann, Jutta Rantala and Aimee Palmer all scoring two goals each this term in all competitions, while 'keeper Janina Leitzig has made the division's most saves so far this campaign, getting behind 19 attempts.
The opposition
Liverpool have won four of their last six WSL matches at home, the last coming against Aston Villa. Marie Höbinger and former Fox Natasha Flint scored the decisive goals, only a week after beating Arsenal at the Emirates through a Miri Taylor strike.
Since then, the Reds have hit more difficult form, losing 1-0 in the Merseyside derby at Anfield, before drawing 1-1 with West Ham United in the capital.
Welsh international Ceri Holland will be one to watch out for on Sunday afternoon; the forward has had more touches in the opposition box (14) and more shots (7) than any other Liverpool player this season and only Marie-Therese Höbinger (36) has completed more passes ending in the final third.
In the dugout
Matt Beard resides in the Liverpool dugout and started his second stint at the club in great fashion, winning the Barclays Women's Championship by picking up 52 points from 22 games and clinching the title with a 11 point gap to second-place London City Lionesses.
Beard has 49 wins from his 136-game managerial career, but is yet to taste victory against Leicester in the top flight, and has beaten opposite number Kirk twice in seven meetings.
Last time out
The Foxes have a good record against Liverpool, winning both times in the WSL last season, first of all in February when Hannah Cain converted a clever corner routine from Courtney Nevin
On Filbert Way in April, meanwhile, Leicester beat the Reds 4-0 in a dominant display on home turf - a Club WSL record victory which still stands - courtesy of Josie Green, Carrie Jones, Ashleigh Plumptre and a first league goal from Missy Goodwin.
