- James Maddison to wear No.25 for England at the FIFA World Cup- The Leicester City midfielder has netted seven goals for the Foxes this season- England will face Iran, the USA and Wales in Group B in Qatar
Maddison, 25, was formally presented with a Three Lions shirt adorned with his new number by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales this week at St. George's Park in Burton. The England squad will fly out to Qatar for the 2022 contest this week.
Foxes midfielder Maddison was called up by manager Gareth Southgate after following a 2021/22 campaign which involved him scoring 18 goals with another seven this term, as well as four assists in 2022/23.
