Arriving bright and early to LCFC Training Ground, this week brings the start of our pre-season preparation as we work towards our upcoming Sky Bet League One campaign.

Martin, who was appointed two weeks ago today, has had a bit of time to familiarise himself with his new surroundings ahead of the squad returning for day one of pre-season.

Our new Manager arrived in mid-June.

The summer provided a chance to regroup and reset after a disappointing end to last season, as the players came in with a focused look to get back to work.

Catching up with each other over breakfast, they were greeted by the new man in charge, before fitness testing and an introduction back onto the pitch begins in Seagrave.

The Foxes have two weeks to wait for our first pre-season test, when we welcome Northampton Town to our training ground on Saturday 11 July (12pm kick-off), before two further fixtures against Bristol Rovers and Burton Albion the following week.

Our competitive season then begins on Saturday 8 August when we take on Northampton, once again, in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
