  • He says the Foxes must overcome the disappointment of Tuesday’s draw with high-flying Middlesbrough
  • There will be no underestimating Norwich on Saturday, he says, as we face another side looking for form
It’s been a disheartening run for everyone associated with the Foxes, without a win in five games, which has seen us drop to 13th in the Sky Bet Championship table.
The nature of Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough at King Power Stadium, including a last-minute equaliser for the visitors, has also been hard to take for players and fans alike.
That being said, the players have been working hard in Seagrave this week, readying themselves to tackle Liam Manning’s Norwich outfit, who haven’t won since 30 August and have tasted defeat in all of their games at Carrow Road this term.

“It’s always big,” Ricardo said this week. “The next game is always the biggest game. Of course, results haven’t been the ones we wanted, but at the same time, I can see that the games have been decided by details.
“Some chances we don’t score, a last-minute draw now against Middlesbrough, so I think we’re not far from getting the results. It’s just that click to change it and I believe Saturday will be the day that things will turn around for us.
“Of course, straight away after the game, we were disappointed. You could see people on the pitch upset about it.
“But we have to pick ourselves up and go again the next day, training, trying to see the positives. I think the unity of the team on the pitch was really good, so we have to take that into Saturday and keeping improving, the points will come.”

The Portuguese full-back, our captain this season, says nobody in the camp will be underestimating the Canaries due to their form, saying the ambition is to head into the international break with a morale-boosting victory.
“We always know how difficult it is,” he added. “No matter the team you play or the momentum, you have dig deep to win games.
“I’m sure Saturday will be the same and we have to focus on ourselves. We have a tough challenge ahead of us. It would be a mistake to do the opposite.
“It will be important to go into the international break, the two weeks, with a win, with a different feeling to build the confidence and work on things we need to improve.”
