Charnwood Coach

Charnwood Coach is a newly developed role to support Leicester City in the Community programmes throughout the borough of Charnwood.

Following a period of growth, Leicester City in the Community (LCitC) has a fantastic opportunity for a Charnwood Coach to join our dynamic team.

About the role

Charnwood Coach is a newly developed role to support LCitC programmes throughout the borough of Charnwood.

Delivering a host of activities, the role will focus on three main areas; Education Community and Health and Wellbeing. Ensuring high quality sessions are developed and delivered, this role aims to engage and enthuse members of the community through inclusivity and creativity. 

Who we’re looking for

Skills required for success: 

  • Ability to form strong and appropriate relationships, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of Planning and delivering engaging activities, with a knowledge of community sport interventions.
  • Ability to engage with young people, with experience of working within a community setting.

Essential requirements:

- FA Level 2 Coaching in Football or above
- Must satisfy relevant pre-employment checks including enhanced DBS check
- Ability to travel across multiple sites

Contract Type – 12 month fixed-term contract
Hours Per Week
– 20, You may be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends.
